Pay Dates
If a pay date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the pay date will be scheduled for the preceding business day.
Contracted Employees - Monthly on 20th
Part Time/Non-contracted Employees - Monthly on 10th
Substitute Teachers - Bi-monthly on 10th and 25th
Certified Pay Scales
Certified salary schedules are based on degree level and years of experience. This set salary schedule is based on the contracted 182-day work calendar.
Support and Hourly Pay Scales
Support salary schedules are based on ratios and are provided as an hourly rate. Contracted positions will have an annualized salary to ensure consistent monthly income.
Extra Duty / Stipends
Stipends and extra duties are assigned specific fixed amounts based on the position.
Substitute Teacher Daily Pay Rate
Substitute teachers earn a daily rate that is based on classification. Substitute teachers must hold a valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate to be considered a certified substitute teacher.
Daily Rate of Pay
Non-certified substitute - $75 per day
Certified substitute - $85 per day
Long-term Substitute (20+ consecutive days in the same teacher assignment)
Non-certified substitute - $85 per day; days 21+ $100 per day
Certified substitute - $100 per day; days 21+ $200 per day
